Lady the Assistant: Part 2 of 4

"Now while you are all aware that I will be performing four illusions for you tonight," Ross told the audience, "I didn't have the money to buy much more than three props. Why do you think I got Lady here from a bar?" The audience gave a warm laugh. "So for this next illusion I'll be using this same box to perform what is known as 'The Twister'".

Ross picked up one of the blades he used to divide Lady in the 'Shadow Vision' illusion, this time running it across the front of the box instead of through her neck, so as to hide her body from the audience. After repeating the same with the other blade, but on the back of the box, he enclosed her head into another, smaller box, with only her face sticking out to the audience.

All of a sudden, Ross turned the box over her head, and she felt the most amazing feeling she ever had in her life. Every single one of her vertebrae cracked, each pop relieving more and more of the tension in her body, loosening her beyond what she thought imaginable. One full turn passed and Ross paused to let Lady recover.

"Wow," She quietly breathed – near speechless at the stretch she had just received, That was amazing! Any doubt of her safety left in her mind after the Shadow Vision illusion vanished.

Ross then continued, turning her head even further, a total of five times around. Each turn, instead of stretching her spine, now pressed everything else against the length of bones. Her abdominal muscles squeezed her digestive tract and her ribcage compressed and collapsed her lungs inwards, however instead of the tightness bringing intense pain, it instead felt like the sort of pain she'd expect in a massage – each turn making her feel like the next would bring her into a state of ecstasy. Unfortunately, before she could reach that feeling, Ross stopped.

"So now that Lady is now twisted up," Ross announced to the audience, "We might as well see what's happened to her body." He pulled the blade from the front of the box, the audience giving a slight gasp at what they saw.

Lady's attention snapped from the feeling in her body. Why are they gasping? She thought to herself, Did he make my body disappear again? Looking around, she managed to get a glimpse at her body from the removed blade, which was still in Ross' hand, and gasped herself.

Her body was now pretty much a thick rope – her clothes and skin pulled together in a tight twist. If this had been the first trick she would have been shocked beyond belief at being like this – even more so than being divided into thirds – but now that she was more used to Ross' magic it only justified why she felt so close to that ecstasy.

Ross, casting the first blade aside, pulled the second blade out. The audience's gasps now increased in intensity as they started applauding, amazed at the flawless performance of the illusion.

"I think it would be best if you saved the applause the end of the illusion," Ross politely said to the audience, "I'm sure Lady doesn't want to be like this forever."

Yes! Lady said in her mind, both relieved and disappointed by what Ross said, But only after one last turn!

Unfortunately her silent wish wasn't fulfilled, as Ross began slowly turning her head back, the five twists in her body slowly straightening back out. The pressing slowly eased as her body lost its rope-like appearance, however as the final turn ended Lady realised that the loosening stretch of the original turn still had its effect.

With the pressure from the illusion now gone, Lady gave a long deep breath out. While she wanted Ross to twist her just a bit further, being straightened out was definitely relieving. Then, all of a sudden, Ross removed the head box and guided her out of the prop, freeing her from the restricting container that glided offstage at a single push.

Once out of the illusion, Lady felt compelled to have a little stretch. Stretching up and back to crack her spine one last time, she quickly realised that her body was slowly folding in two painlessly and instantly straightened up, tensing at the realisation of her sudden increase in flexibility.

"Well, now that Lady is limbered up from The Twister," Ross announced to the cheerful audience, "I think she's about ready to be pressed short..." As smoothly as the first prop glided offstage, another one slid in, this one with a horizontal box almost the length of Lady's body. "...in an illusion I call 'Compressed'!"
