Description
Laura Evelyn is an oddity to medical science. Not only is she the first successful conjoined twin of her kind, she is the first set of twins to properly share one mind. Growing up in the middle of nowhere, she was noticed by a location scout for an upcoming fantasy TV show, where she just so happened to fit the role of the main character perfectly: an outcast centaur, trying to make a life for herself. Unfortunately, no-one can just accept her unique figure, so she keeps herself secluded… which is a challenge when your show is making you an overnight celebrity.
At least, that’s the character. In reality, Laura is played by Rebecca Day, an established method actress in the Pennyverse, performing in a long-form situational drama that’s a combination Extras and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt with a sprinkle of the Freak Show season of American Horror Story. Although she only needs this form for the TV show, she has decided to live with it in order to truly get used to being an outsider and freak of nature.
